Trashbox(my band) - performing original song + Mr. Amsterdam

So, I just had my first live gig ever with my band Trashbox, it was freakin' awesome. We were the opening act for a cool hard rock band called Mens Rea (http://www.myspace.com/guiltymind), and it was just so much fun. We played 4 songs - Girls In Black (Airbourne cover), Somebody Put Something In My Drink (Ramones cover) and two original songs, and we finished off with the breakdown part of Sum 41's Mr. Amsterdam.

Now a friend of ours filmed the last part of the show, with us playing an original song called "You're My Demise" + the Mr. Amsterdam part, so the quality kinda sucks, especially in Youtube (on the Myspace Videos thing and Facebook it looks kinda better):

Dude, that was awesome, the quality kinda sucks, but i really enjoyed it.
The influence of Useless ID is pretty out there, especially in the Bass line, those guys rule, and so do you.

Its really good to hear you enjoyed this song, although yeah, the quality kinda sucked.
Too bad we don't have a video of our second original song, we like it better, its also a lot faster and more fun song, with a really catchy and cool chorus, and yeah, i'm the guitarist (the one from the right actually) but I came up with this bass line actually haha, Useless ID definitely influenced it =)

I hope we'll get in the studio to record some tunes now, I'm not sure we are really ready, that was our first live gig and all, but we might get ready and record our two original songs soon, and i'll give you guys an update here :D

Its really good to hear all those things. I hope some friends of ours brings a normal camera to our next show and we'll have a better quality video :D

And wiggs, dude, it was our first live show, but i'm sure we'll keep playing now, so yeah, I hope we'll have a show in December as well haha, there's time to that.
