hey, last night i was watching television, and suddenly, they were talking about the new season of 'Heroes' to begin. I actually don't give a fuck about that show, but check this out: the host was talking about some character named Jessica, who had some superpower and was able to murder her enemies.

I did some wikipedia and found this:
"Niki, a sufferer of Dissociative Identity Disorder, displays superhuman strength, being able to literally rip others in half. Initially, she is only able to access this power when her alter ego "Jessica" is in control."

So, wouldn't that be a BIG coincidence if Deryck didn't inspire this working title on a charcater of his favourite tv-show (beside Lost)?

A working title doesn't mean the song or its lyrics are about this title.
Remember Nacho Libre, Mr Pillow and Pla from UH.

So far a little theory about this demo/working title.

I think Jeremy already suggested that idea that its about Jessica from Heroes like when we only saw those working titles.

I don't know if working titles need to refer to his personal life. I mean, look at those titles I've mentioned:
Pla, Nacho Libre, Food (from DTLI), etc...

I don't see a link with his personal life in those ones either.

Well I honestly do not think Deryck W, would name on of their songs of a character in a popular tv-serie, there is probably some other theory behind the name ;) Atleast i hope so

It's a working title, so why not? They always come up with random names that don't make sense.

Um, this is the same guy who originally named a song "Food" because he was hungry when he wrote it. Second Chance for Max Headroom is named after a TV character and the working title "Nacho Libre" is after a movie.

I think it's EXTREMELY likely that it's named after that. By the way, what's with Deryck and these epic shows that you have to have watched from the beginning to understand. (please note that I'm using "epic" properly here, I don't have an opinion on the actual quality of the shows)

lol I don't think it's really that deep. I think it's just a working name he came up with so it wasn't called "no name yet" like half of my songs..............

LOL, it's not exactly a deep theory. He was probably just watching an episode where Jessica featured heavily before he working-titled the song.

lol deep isn't the right word I guess. but still, I don't really think this is the case. eh wouldn't be the first time I was wrong though.
