bamboo drawing pad

Well for my 8th grade graduation I've been saving up my money and my parents are pitching in and I'm getting a laptop. I want too get a bunch of gadgets for this thing so my friends will be jealous (yeah I'm a great friend)
So I saw this bamboo drawing pad it looks pretty cool. I was wondering if anyone had first hand expireance with this. Check it out and tell me if u think it's worth my 70 dollars .

My school has those and I'm in a computer animation class where I get to use them everyday. :D
I think it's useful for animating cartoons (like i do). It's pretty much used for drawing, at least from what I've done with it. You can write with it too, but I've never done that. So yeah, hope this helps you out. :]
