Solo Guitar Challenges..

hey... ive been learning lead guitar stuff for a bit now, and i can play a couple of solos & stuff... (the most advanced solo so far is probably 'Hooch' - sum41..) ....

anyway.., i was wondering if anyone knows of any really good 'how to play...' tutorial videos for any good solos? just so i can literally watch & play, and not have to keep refering to tab...!

they dont have to be extremely hard, just anything that's fun to play, or useful to learn..etc...

any help is gr8, thanks :)

honestly, this is the only way to learn how to play.

learn/look at guitar tabs of hard songs
play them really slowly....reallly slowly
then start to pick up the speed

and BAM you're good at guitar

honestly....metal songs

like bullet for my valentine. mainly because their songs are good, but hard to play too

yes but maybe he gets confused because of BFMV's tunning (I think it's dropped C)

sure its fucking low....but it sounds so kickass wih distortion

Get Guitar Pro and use those tabs. So you can hear it aswell.

^ thanks, yeah i hate having to figure tunings etc.. i only ever change to Dropped D the odd time, but usually standard.. any good ones in st.tuning?

Try Sum 41 solos, like Machine Gun, The Hell Song, In Too Deep, etc.
