I have a lot to lose if my parents found out. Grounded, killed, everything taken away basically.
I mean it's the same way I feel about Jonathan....who's been very friendly and smiles lately.

Explain to your parents that some times in life you have to let go. It's not fair for the person/thing being handled to stay captive forever. Hope they understand. How old are you btw?
