so, new year, new festivals. anyone here planning on going to any festivals this year? waht bands would you like to see do the rounds on the festival circuit this year?

personally, im aiming to go to Download in June, Latitude in July and Reading August.

I might go to Wacken Open Air, Rock am Ring or Graspop Metal Meeting this year. It'll be my first European festival ! :D

Although I would wait for more line-up announcements first... I mean, they only have the 4 headliners in Rock am Ring for now, which are Billy Talent (who rule!!) , Slipknot, The Killers and Placebo.
So I guess we'll have to wait for more line-up announcements.

We have Dubai Desert Rock Festival here, but the line-up kinda sucks =/ Iron Maiden used to come alot. This year they aren't coming, at least I don't think so.

In my area neither. Germany is the best place for summer festivals! they have so much good shit there - Wacken, Rock am Ring, Bang Your Head...

the reading site won't start getting updated til about March time when they start to make the announcements. all i know at the minute is that AC/DC, Kings of Leon, Slipknot, Green Day and Artic Monkeys are rumoured. i dunno who would get announced though. i can see AC/DC playing though

none of my mates want to go, and with the pound being worth about 2 buttons against the Euro, id rather go another year, lol. i WILL go at some point though!
