this song is about a good friend of mine and her brother's friend. she was at her brother's friend's house one night hanging out, and after a little too much to drink, she and her brother's friend ended up sleeping together. it was a big mistake though, because the friend already had a long-time girlfriend. anyway, when she told me about the mistake she'd made, it inspired me to write this.
