Why is there so much pain, when will it end
Why are we always searching for someone other than a friend
This is so absurb, it doesn’t make any sense
For us to leave our lives in suspense
We wait our whole life for love, when we can find it a throw away
Laziness, craziness, all of this in just one day
Why do teenagers drink, why is it necessary to blink
Why is it that life’s questions unravel in what we think
We always watch ourselves, changing to be liked
When we really know its killing us all alike
Try to fit in, not to be transparent
When we know it makes good to be different
Open up your eyes
Our limit is the skies
It’s not the differential
But how we can all reach our potential
Some day, you’ll see
How much it pays off to live with dignity
No one can tell you how to live except you.
Why are we cruel, why so up setting
Why is everyone not accepting
Colour nor belief doesn’t matter
We all climb the same way up the ladder
Hate, all around me, trying to involve me
Why can’t we all just get along happily
Today is judged way to much on looks
Your fat, your skinny, here, take advice from our ‘expert’ cooks
Be happy with what you got, it can only improve
But yet we find the need for change, the need to move
None is necessary, none is needed
But yet we still are telling you “you have never succeededâ€Â
It’s always on the outside that counts
But what you really got inside is getting lesser in amount
The media fills us with so many lies in the present
Filling our minds with sex, drugs it isn’t pleasant
Technology runs our lives, we need it to survive
But really we should live like it was 1955
With no war, no hate
Just peace and love for the whole state
Some day, you’ll see
How much it pays off to live with dignity
No one can tell you how to live except you
We are the guilty, we are the accused
We use our power like it’s something to be abused
I’m no preacher, I’m only human
I’m just here to be with my fellow man
Life’s so precious you’ll never know
Until someone dear to you decides to go
Stop and think, about what we’ve done
Maybe hear the voices try to run
