i did impliment a 'temporary' fix ages ago, which has now turned rather perminant. in your user control panel, change the style to conundrum should you want to use the search.

All i know about the problem is its the phpbb theme, and as i dont really know much about phpbb i wouldnt really know where to start looking. V or R. may be able to shed more light on it.

I will have a slight dig within the files now see if i can work anything out, maybe search google for a few mins but thats as far as i'm gonna go. Last time i tried to fix something this major i brought the forum down for hours.

Damn right, I used to use the View New Posts cause back then I only has a 512 Kilobit connection and took forever to browser the forum.
