Dave stops singing for Brown Brigade

This just came in "Dave is a pussy so he would like to stop singing and concentrate on his day job which is playing guitar." hahaha, its true, it says so
So basically it says that Dave stopped singing for the band, he just came back to playing guitar so they are looking for a new singer for the band and it says that the lack of singer was the reason of delay for their EPs.

Too bad to hear that, Dave is a great singer and I totally wanted to hear him sing punk and reggae. I guess Cess will sing the reggae and all, but i can't imagine him doing the punk one so i guess thats why they're looking for a singer.

Bummer, Dave actually had a decent singing voice. You couldn't really tell from singing backup with Sum 41 though. With exceptions to songs like My Direction and Some Say.
Anyways, it makes sense in the delay of the EPs that they're looking for a new singer. Hopefully they find one and he is able to manage the workload.

sucks to hear that. i thought dave was a good frntman, guess he wasn't comfortable being in the spotlight. oh well, i wish them luck.

i didn't know that that was Dave signing in BB.. always thought it was somone else..

Nooooo!! Hallowed be thy name proves what a great voice Dave has and it won't be the same with someone else. :( Oh well i'm sure there knew material will still be cool but it's a bit wierd that Dave didn't lend his vocals one last time to those Ep's.

That sucks big time. Dave was the reason why I liked BB. Well, just hope the will get a new great singer. But hard to beat Dave.

Why are you guys talking like Dave is actually LEAVING the band? Just because he won't be singing doesn't mean he's not still in the band.
And really, if the only reason you like BB is because Dave is the frontman...well...stop liking them...and go away *lol* People need to listen to music they like, not pretend they dig something because of who's a part of it.

I thought you were a fan of Sum 41 when Dave was part of it?
At least to me, the members make the band. If someone is replaced, the band is not completely the same anymore, especially with a different singer --> different sound.
And for example, if a band makes a cover song from a song I like, it usually doesn't sound as good as the original. Even if the music exactly the same, the singer's voice is different, so it has a big effect on how the song sounds.
I don't know if that made any sense, but my point is that the members make the band imo.

exacto. the Music without the vocals has a special touch that will only be good with a special voice that fits it. doesnt matter if someone you liked is in the band.
