Life=teh sux

well right now, my life pretty much sux.

I'm missing a shitload of school, because of theese headaches i've been getting which are like migranes, but without the pain (but the lose of thinking thought process is still there :( ).

I'm failing all my classes because i don't do shit in them.

My parents are pissed at me for always staying on the computer. I can't help it that it's the single most valuable possession in our entire house. I mean, unlike most kids, if i get grounded from the computer, i can't just go text my friends or do something else. It's all I have next to music right now.

ANd my mom is making me move it downstairs to her room. Dammit.

Now i won't be able to stay up till 4 responding to messages here on TNS. sorry folks.

Well. that pretty much sums it up for the most part.

I'm in therapy and shit but it aint working, all they do is tell me the importance of school and shit, yet they have no answer to "in 2 years, High school is over... Then what?".

Any suggestions people?

I think you should think about how you want to end up.
At first i wasn't good in school too, not failing, but not as good as i used to, but then i heard something like this "the shittier your grades are, the less chances you have in the future."
i think it was dead right, finishing a university could bring so much possibilities for a good life, than a low education, unless you already know who you want to be.
I don't want to be stuck with my parents all my life. I love them, but my own life is more awesome.

I'd be stuck to my computer too if it wasn't in my brothers room and him being constantly behind it.
At one point i actually was. Then one of my relative died from cancer and i realized just how little time we have with our loved ones, so i started dealing with people i love so much.
Actually, a friend of my mother's, who is a really good person, is dying from cancer too, only a month to live. And also a car crash, where i almost died, while listening to Sum 41's "bitter end" (irony?).

I hope you won't need these kind of eyeopeners, anyway, i wish you luck Luke, i hope i was some kind of a help.

that is kind of ironic. My friend almost got killed while listening to a Cyndi Lauper song... don't ask... there was a tornado and it was a while back, it was like 80's weekend at my local radio station and this song was on, then he looks up and bam, tornado sweeps up the car.

geuss that's what I get for livin in tornadoe valley

no you guys, life doesn't suck.

sure, a lot of shitty stuff happens to us every day. everybodys got their problems, some bigger than others but instead of keeping in our minds that we're living in a world were everything goes wrong we should be trying to better our mistakes and make whats bad into as best as possible. think of the good things life gives you. like Sum 41

i guess that sounds kinda gay but i rather live that way than having a bad attitude about life.

life sucks sometimes and others times is the most incredible thing you have ...it has bad things and good ... school is one of the "bad" when you are a teen, specially when you go there because you have to ... trust me i know what i'm talking about cuz here you have to attend to school until you're 16 studying science,maths,spanish,catalan,history... but now i moved to high school and now I study what i want and i feel better

he's right, staying near anything like computers, for a long time can screw with your brain. same thing with those flourescent lights. also, if you're fat (i don't know if you are), not getting enough fresh air and excersie can screw with your brain too.

you just gotta slap yourself in the face, and say that "I need to shape up", and don't think of yourself as better than the teachers, because you have to respect them, and stop being ignorant.

life only sucks if you make it suck.

You should just apply yourself in school. If you're smart enough, why not, right? Nowadays you can't really do anything unless you have a proper education.

Try finding more hobbies so you can get away from the computer for a bit.

Regarding the suckiness of life... It is what you make it. If you always focus on the bad things, it only makes things worse.

Yeah, you need to give yourself a break from the computer.

If you're as smart as you say you are, applying yourself in school will be a breeze. Good results in school will lead you to your future. If you actually apply yourself in school, you'll probably find out what you want to do with yourself. I'm a pretty smart kid but I apply myself in school so that I can have an average worthy of university. By applying myself in school, I found that I have no future in the sciences and that my passion is writing. I'm 2 years away from graduating high school and I know that I want to be a journalist.

Sometimes I lose faith in the educational system too. But when I don't, I find that I actually have a life and I don't spend hours wallowing in my phony sorrow.

Honestly, I thought my life was pretty much the computer too about 2 years ago. But now, I find I'm happiest when I'm talking to my friends or doing improv or even doing stuff for yearbook.

Yeah, sometimes life sucks. But you're 16. It's about time you learned how to make the best out of it. :)

Yeah, if you're smart, working at school should'nt be that hard. Aren't you happy when you get good marks ?
When I was in college, i wasn't smart but i remember i sometimes worked, and i had some good marks. The results is that my parents were happy, I was happy cuz i knew i could do good things, and like it's said before, you can't do really good things in your life without a bit of education.
Hope i helped you, anyway good luck for the future
