ok so next week im gonna play at school a gig. im not gonna get another chance to play till like October so i really wanted to play. so i got a crappy drummer and a crappy guitarist and now the guitarist is pissed off at me. he just made an ultimate-guitar account and started reading the comments on mine were i mentioned to another guy about my crappy band.

this really hurt his feelings (he told me on MSN) and what im trying to tell him is that i chose to play with him even if he's no the best because he is my friend but it didnt seem to do much good. i feel terrible. its like i let him down.

I dont know what to do. i dont even care about the gig anymore. saving a friendship seems a lot more important right now. what should i do?

tell him that you wanted him in your band because of him, not because of his ability. tell him that there ios no one else he would rather have as his guitarist.

Being sincere is always your best bet. I mean... Truth always prevails.

If you really feel this way, he will eventually realise it.

hey man, shit like this happens, all you gotta do to remedy your friend issues is to grab the devil by the horns and fuck him up the ass.

no, but seriously, i would apologize to him, tell him what noreason said, and give him the option of playing the gig or not, im assuming he deserves obviously being a lesser skilled guitarists and has practiced songs that are reasonably tough, again, im assuming

sorry for being late dude (I have been in Scotland this week)
my advice is that a friendship is more important than a gig so try to fix the situation with your friend
