Post attachments?

I tried to attach a txt-file to my post, but it gives an error that txt-format is not allowed.
So what formats are allowed?

Okay, the text I have is too long to post, so I'd still want to attach it as a txt-file.
MediaFire doesn't work for me anymore, and I don't feel like uploading only txt-files to somewhere else.

So is it possible to allow attaching txt-files?
I'd really appreciate it. 8)

thats was just off a regular set up of phpbb3, so i dont know if they changed it or not
