It's not alcohol dude. It's grease, like to grease vehicles and stuff...like a mechanical lubrication kinda thing.

...or twice as smooth?
I'm not really sure. That's one I haven't bothered much with reading into the lyrics or anything of. I just enjoy it for it's pleasing sound rather than for any meaning haha.

...are you sure? I thought the only cover on the album was the Maiden one? Wouldn't it say "look it up on blahblah.com" for the lyrics?Elise41 wrote:Actually WD-80 is a cover song. Don't remember from who though.

Yeah I don't think it is a cover. But, I could be wrong.
Unfortunately for me, I'm at the boyfriend's house. His CD is in the player beside me (and oddly enough playing WD 80 right now haha), but the case/cover is God knows where in his room somewhere...so I can't check it out to see what it says about who the songs were written by.

Tell you're boyfriend its nice to know there's more Brown Brigade fans :D
they should really get at least half famous like the sums, i mean, all the sites said "Sum 41 guitarist quits to start a metal band" or something, and still, look at them, i don't think they even sell their CDs in the US.
so it like... sucks for Dave that Brown Brigade doesn't gets much attention.
Also sucks for fans like us, none of the dudes i recommended to listen to Brown Brigade's album (all fans of Maiden, Metallica, etc), none knew what's the band and none really knew who was the former guitarist for sum... which sucks.
Dave is such an awesome guitarist, he should get more attention.
He has the potential to be a classic rememberable guitarist.

Ah the boy is a giant superfan! He has a t-shirt, the Japanese release of the full length album, and he has one of the wristbands that Dave's mom made! haha. He's been to...3 shows with me...and will be at a 4th with me on Friday.
And he is NOT a Sum 41 fan! Hooray for someone outside the 41 fanbase to like the band! haha
I agree, though, it is too bad they don't get more attention. But you know what? Dave is loving it. He gets to do it again, you know? Start at the bottom and work their way up. And he certainly is happier for attention they get for being Brown Brigade rather than just for his previous fame...but yeah. They deserve WAY more attention. But they'll get it, in time.
(and it is available in the US...via dkdtunes.com...but it's not in all the stores because really...a debut album out of a Canadian band is never in US stores! haha)

Yeah that's awesome. i couldn't find any Brown Brigade fan who wasn't also a Sum 41 fan.
They need new fans.... like Iron Maiden and Metallica fans, fans of Heavy metal who would like 'em.
And to be honest, i dunno how much fun is it going from the bottom up again, since i'm pretty positive sum 41 got much more attention after the release of HHOP, and AKNF came fast.
I really hope that Brown Brigade will go large, and be one of the big heavy metal bands, cuz things aren't so bright with them now and i hope they will get more attention.
