Hey is the only music you guys listen to is Punk music cause thats all you ever talk about....Im not saying its bad just wondering.

its mostly all like rock. sum 41 blink, jimmy eat world, billy talent, alexisonfire, ava, i don't know theres more, but genres i can't stand are..

i listen to way more than punk.
alternative rock, indie, britpop, radiohead (in a genre of their own!) and classic rock.

youre most likely to see people mostly talking about punk, because sum 41 fall under that genre.

Most of the stuff I listen to is alternative rock, yeah.

But I have been getting into some more poppy and hip hoppy stuff lately.

I listen to anything I can find that has an attitude to it and is very melodic. It's basically a plus for if it happens to have great guitar riffs.

But basically it's different genres for different moods, which is why life should have background music.

I can stand some rap when it's more than just "I'm awesome, look at my oversized fur coat and sweet car, I wear sunglasses at nighttime and no one can knock me off the throne, lick my lollipop etc..."

I don't mind Eminem, he's got his problems and I'd rather have him rap about that than some other cliche I've heard already. Like the above.

^^ yea, i like some rap, the rappers who are actually rapping about real problems, who are actually trying to get their point across through their music, not that fact that they have all this money and "hoes" and shit. and i can't stand 50 cent. i just hate him.

i love everything from rock to hip hop, i think hip hop is different than rap, when people say rap they think drugs, drive-by shootings, gangfights and whatever, but hip hop is soul and it's nothing like it, it's an opinion of an ignorant, i'm in love with hip hop, for sure.
