Isit just me or are so many heavy metal bands now going towards the direction of become more melodic and leaving their roots of screaming to sing.. take Avenged Sevenfold and Killswitch Engage for example.. whats going on???

Anyone else realised this??

i can accept the fact of avenged but with killswitch they had a new singer an now with howard they sing an scream which to me is a damm good mix but one band tht i dont like as much now is aiden they have lost their fire i think with this new album dont get me wrong i think its a good album but its no way as near as awesome as the rest

Yes very good example there too.. I mean, Liberation Transmission is a good album but compared to Start Something it sucks royal ass lol

I also think MCR changed big time to after releasing The Black Parade. Althought it was a concept album, it didn't feel like them at all.

i love howard Jones's voice, he has such a good mix of singing and screaming. i love the singing and screaming in Alexisonfire as well, love them, i think they have the mix nailed pretty well, Dallas Green has such an amazing voice

and i also loved Lostprophets old stuff, the heavier stuff, i dint rate the new album that highly tbh
