Hey guys! A friend and I have started a project, called Comatose Promotions, to help promote lesser known and unsigned bands. We just recently started this project and are trying to build a legitimate following on social media and such. We're already connected with 3 bands and hope to connect with some more. We also are going to be putting out weekly videos where we pick 3 unsigned/lesser known bands and they are our featured bands of the week. Hm. Interesting concept. If I may offer some constructive criticism:

-The comatose transitions are a bit bothersome to me. They feel unnecessary, and distracting. If you want to keep them in, that's fine, transitions are good, but perhaps you could spice them up a bit, maybe choose a different effect for it, add some sound effect to communicate that it's a transition, that sort of thing.

Also, they seem a bit overused in the videos, you probably only need them for changing bands, ending the intro, that sort of thing, not really needed for the end of the band samples.

-speaking of samples, my suggestion for them would be to play samples of the bands throughout the whole episode. Kind of add them as background music, and change tracks when you change bands. Low enough that you can be hard over them, but loud enough that we can kind of listen to it subliminally, and to give us a longer sample. Then simply increase the volume during the sample time.

-More editing! Your commentary is pretty good, but both of you tend to repeat yourself a bit, especially closer to the end. All you need to do is cut the unnecessary parts out in post editing, while keeping the flow of your paragraphs/statements and you'll be golden.

-I would suggest a higher quality camera, and maybe a better microphone that cuts out the background fuzz better, but if you're making these on a fairly low budget, I can forgive this.

Other than these, pretty good show, I like most of the bands mentioned(and I will check them out), and I can't wait till you start expanding on other genres. Don't give up, this has some potential :D

Thank you very much for your advice! We will take it into account when we start filming our next episode. As far as the camera goes though, we really have no other options at this time. Over the summer we will hopefully invest in a better one.

In future episodes, we will have some guest appearances which will help bring other genres into the mix. Also, if you, or anyone else on this forum, have any suggestions for bands we might want to look into, go ahead and post them here.
