Without a doubt, Rush's "Clockwork Angels" is the best album of the year for me. Other albums that were great were;

The Organ Thieves "Somewhere Between Free Men and Slaves"
The Gaslight Anthem "Handwritten"
Billy Talent "Dead Silence"
Three Days Grace "Transit of Venus"
The Sheepdogs "The Sheepdogs"
Mumford and Sons "Babel"
The Lumineers "The Lumineers"
Jack White "Blunderbuss"
you have far too much time on your hands

Adding "Sharks - No Gods" to that list.
