I feel at this point it's hard to vent about anything. Most of us are used to how this band functions with minimal support from their label. I just want to see the music video as a personal thing. The fact that Tomi was able to watch it has me hopeful that it won't be much longer. I've waited a long time for Screaming Bloody Murder and when it finally came out it met all my expectations of my "ideal Sum 41 sound". The title track was so satisfying to hear for the first time, not to mention my hopes were already built up with Skumfuk, though I didn't want to get them up too high.

I feel when the band says things like "different than anything we've ever done" or something like that that it's worth the wait. I just keep myself occupied with other things/bands/music so I don't think about how long I've been waiting.

It's just a music video. I don't really care if it comes out or not, it's a great song but i don't really care about music videos, besides the underclass hero videos were nowhere near as good as earlier videos.

Um, so? This video is nowhere near any of their earlier videos. Comparing BIME to, let's say, With Me, would be like comparing Inception the movie to Titanic. Yeah, same guy headlining, but you can't really compare them.

Yeah, you can't really compare it that way. And i find the Underclass Hero music videos to be equally as good as any earlier video.

Its not Sum 41's fault that these things happened to them. Its the fact that current mainstream music ruined them. They are in the dirt while Justin Bieber and Katy Perry are in the spotlight. It angers me when I see people getting little recognition for their skills.

It is very sad. I defended Sum 41 for so long. I know many people here on TNS live in EU. I mainly speaking from a US perspective. I want them to be big again. I want them to be noticed.

"in fuckin Europe" ? You're such an egoist person. I waited them for 7 fuckin years. I live in Italy, and they played in Bologna in February 2003, but I was too young to go to their show. They came back on 4/17/2010. That's pathetic...They never came in Italy for the Chuck's & Underclass hero's tour. Meanwhile they played so many times at the Warped Tour, they played so many shows in Canada! Don't get me wrong, but it's ridiculous that you're complaining because the Sum's are touring in Europe since 2010!
..and about the BIME's video I agree with you. Yeah, they have many hard-die fans..but the promotions is important.

Hmm, you can totally compare, you can compare the siblings - Underclass Hero song and Fat Lip, UH being just a weak effort to regain the fame of Fat Lip, you can definitely compare these two songs.

You can also compare With Me and Pieces, while Pieces had a good video with an original idea, With Me was quite cliche, With Me video was not bad, but you can see that kind of stuff in many many other things these days...

That's not what he's saying. Comparing Inception to Titanic is saying that while both films have Leonardo DiCaprio, the people in charge are completely different, making for two contrasting experiences. So while Sum 41 may have made both songs, the label, the funding, the director, they're all completely different, so there's less to work with, and different ideas of how to do it. Sum 41 doesn't have direct control over every aspect of their videos.
