Thanks again Tomi for sharing that information with us. We really love this news. I'm going to pass to the Brazilian fans this news on my site, I hope that there is no problem!

No Reason was supposed to be the lead single, but the label refused to release the album since "it had no hits". Even when it included Pieces! So after one and a half years of writing and recording the album, the label wanted Deryck to write a hit song, otherwise they would not release it.
no hits? :holyshit: almost every song on chuck is a hit for me. anyway i'm happy they waited for the "hitsingle" because we're all to blame is one of my favorite songs. i don't think sbm has more "hits" or radio friendly songs

Some of this makes me so happy, and some of it is really disappointing. Hearing that we'll never get I'm Not the One or What We're All About live saddens me. The fact that we'll never get Happiness Machine again is devastating, as is borderline confirmation that Jessica Kill won't be up for a while either. But, Billy Spleen, that's awesome!

Also, what's the Ignorance No More demo? I don't think I caught that.

Another proof that the band reads the forum. I got a message from Brown Tom:
Brown Tom wrote:btw, I like What we're all about! I told Deryck from the getgo that we should be playing that one.
So the band DOES like the song. My bad!

Added a part to the story. When I first wrote it, it had only been one week since my last story with the Sums, so I felt I didn't want to share another one so soon. I know I've been extremely lucky with all this, but I'm not the kind of guy who wants to brag about it, so I decided to only share the new info I got, not how I got it.

But for me, it was a mistake. I've noticed that I've started to forget some details from that night, so I decided to write them down now before I lose everything. :glad:

After all it's been one of the greatest nights I've had, and I'd want to share the awesomness with ones who can appreciate it, you guys. :silly:

It's always great to hear about a band caring for their fans, and Sum 41 is no exception. Good read, especially about the song/album info, learned a lot.
