Infected.

I don't see the huge deal of the 11th anniversary. Are we going to celebrate all the albums every year?

AKNF's year was last year. This year it's time to acknowledge DTLI.

The thing that i find the most evident of how time flies is that it's five years sice UH was released. That was the first Sum 41 record i was "following" until it's release. Time goes by fast.

Me too. The big contribution to that was Dave leaving the band, then from that day forth I kind of kept tabs on the band to see what was going on with them, hoping that they were still coming out with a new record.

It's already been 14 or so months since Screaming Bloody Murder was officially released and I still find myself "craving" to listen to certain songs like the title track or Blood In My Eyes. It's not the same with the other albums probably because I've listened to those songs so much in the past.

Haha! That's exactly the same for me! Even though I was already a fan, I didn't rellay follow the band at all. But when I heard the news of Dave leaving the band, I started to follow them on a daily basis, to cover up all the years I had missed with Dave. :glad:

ANNNND "All Killer No Filler" was a worldwide trending topic!

I always every year will write something about each album and such. I'm even making a graphic for AKNF's 11yrs. It's so weird, 2001 doesn't even feel like 11 years ago. When I refer to something that occured in the early 2000's, I still say "like a few years ago", only when in reality it happened over a decade ago. I remember Deryck saying something like this in the Anniversary of Anarchy DVD about AKNF. Ah, time sure does fly!

To be honest, I don't care about album anniversaries, unless it's something substantial (eg. 2014 will be the 20th anniversary of Dookie). Are we going to have a birthday for every album every year?

Yeah same here, when I think 10 years ago I think 90s, and like mid-90s too!

Dave has officially been out of the band longer than he was a member since the Sums hit it big. Crazy!

Not that Dave had any special influence on the creative progress (that's kind of controlled by the label anyway)...

Not this again, Dave had a huge impact on the sound of the band on the fact alone that Deryck wrote things he "thought Dave would like to play",
