Either something is up with the poll or something is up with my computer, but I just voted about 30 times and didn't get it up 0.01%.

because they're not Sum 41, only Sum 41 should be allowed into competitions, compete against their own divine self, so they can finally winJeremy Kill wrote:How come?blackhawk1105 wrote:FFFFFFUUUUUUUUSumGeek wrote:Now we are by 1%.blackhawk1105 wrote:We were losing by 3% earlier todaySumGeek wrote:Last night Sum 41 were ahead by about 11%. Re: Musical March Madness 2012
They shouldn't be on there for the same reason that lady gaga shouldn't be on there.. Their music is nothing like the music of the other 62 bands on there. They're all rock/metal bands, except for this one. I'd expect to hear their music in a fucking church (probably at a funeral). They might as well throw Mozart in as wellFuckT41182 wrote:because they're not Sum 41, only Sum 41 should be allowed into competitions, compete against their own divine self, so they can finally winJeremy Kill wrote:How come?blackhawk1105 wrote:FFFFFFUUUUUUUUSumGeek wrote:Now we are by 1%.blackhawk1105 wrote:We were losing by 3% earlier todaySumGeek wrote:Last night Sum 41 were ahead by about 11%. EDIT: lol, I voted 20+ times to get the cooling off period, only to notice that it had gone down by 0.01%

Someone is fucking cheating!
We were still winning when I went to bed last night, and now we're losing by 6%.
I just voted 50 times and we didn't even gain 0.01%, it took me 6 votes to gain 0.01% When I was voting last night.
I checked their FB, they never even mentioned MMM. I even checked twitter for bon iver related tweets, not a single BI fan mentioning this competition in the last 11 hours.. the only people mentioning it were Sum 41 fans saying they couldn't believe that BI are beating Sum 41

Sum 41 -0
Bon Iver- 2
you may not like them, but you have to respect them. they play real instruments and sing real songs just like Sum 41. just because they don't play the same kind of music doesn't mean to need to go apeshit about how they shouldn't be in an MTV vote. the Grammys don't mean much, but a fucking MTV poll means less.

Re: Musical March Madness 2012
What I'm trying to say is that comparing this group to the other bands on this competition is like comparing Mozart to RUSH, both of them are great artists, but should not be compared/ compete with one another.. they're just completely different2712 wrote:blackhawk1105 wrote:They shouldn't be on there for the same reason that lady gaga shouldn't be on there.. Re: Musical March Madness 2012
Dude... its MTV. they'll put anyone on a list that they think is popular with whoever watches whatever shit they have on their channel. do you honestly expect MTV to be rational in that regard?
they also have kesha, paramore, my morning jacket, mumford and sons, gym class heros (they're still around? wtf?) the decemberists etc.. im not saying those bands are bad, but they're still in the same competition as Sum 41, Metallica, Korn, Foo Fighters, Jack White, Coheed and Cambria and Van Halen. it's just a popularity competition.
plus, if RUSH was in this, they'd win hands down. never underestimate the power of the RUSHians. :p
