that's wrong, not all the people commit suicide because they don't like life, for example, there once was a man in the village where my grand parents live, that man was 45 years old when he committed suicide after loosing his wife to cancer ... A few days after the death of his wife I was talking to him, to a shell without any life inside, and he told me: "What's the point in living when the life has already been taken away from me?"

he was smiling when he said it to me, I guessed that he was emotionally fucked, but I still think that he analyzed the situation very well, and found no outcome that would make his life good again, so he turned to death asking for mercy ... I still think about the things he said to me that day, it's a shame I was so fucking young and I only memorized the sentence above and some other things I remember vaguely, and according to other people, he hasn't talked to anybody after his wife died, only to people in funeral business and so on, so I might have been the only guy he has talked to after loosing his wife

And that was the strangest thing, as I was like 8 years old back then... I respect his decision, and I do have sympathy for him, cause he had all the right in the world to love his wife so much that living without her wouldn't make any sense to him, he was a good man after all, the suicide can never change that, some people live 90 years, in all of which they would deserve a bullet in the head

Good point at the end there Jacob. An old friend of mine who was a very good friend of my brother's hung himself a couple of months back. It's just tragic to think that someone would feel so helpless that they felt that was their only option

yeah, one of the local guys that I knew around here hung himself too some time ago, and he was a really good guy, he was always for the fun, hang out with friends always laughing, he would do anything for a friend, and he had them a lot, or didn't he ? Cause his suicide note that he had written was : "I had no friends." ...

I think I know what he meant, he meant that he had friends to have fun with him, to get drunk with him or to get high with him, but there were none who would help him out when he needed it the most ... and you know, we all know that to find a good friend takes a lot of hard work or good luck, but if you realized that you had none while you thought you had many, it could be pretty fucked up, especially when you act impulsively

not that i feel bad or dont feel bad for people who commit suicide, i still think that its a terrible shame that people will come to such great lengths to essentially, avoid being happy. if you take your own life because you are not happy, i feel bad for you because you couldn't find something to be happy about.
