Yeah, I thought someone would bring this up.
Of course I love the Sums, and I can't deny that it wouldn't affect my tastes. But even if I try to think outside-the-box, I still prefer Sum 41's versions. But I think it's mainly because of the audio quality. The originals don't have the same blast as Sum 41.

yeah, it's everyone's own taste, I like the old sound better, and also the original voice of James Hetfield

Well if we're gonna compare it at least compare it to a recent Metallica version and not then original from 1986. LIke this one.

I think at this particular show it was bands covering other bands or something to that effect. So I'm pretty sure the majority that went to this show didn't come for Sum 41 songs in the first place.
