it is useless to make videos when their label won't back them up and make the advertising and all that stuff, the video won't help them in any way, so why do it ?

Very true, but they should at least make a second for the fans, a proper video

the album wasn't a big commercial succes, so probably the label will leave it at only two singles. furthermore, like you said, they're lazy

you really think IR wants their second video out so hard now when Justin Bieber's new record is going out or you have counted BYDWK as a music video ?

i counted it. 1.single SBM, 2. Single BYDWK. now maybe no more singles for this album.

I have my fingers crossed for Blood In My Eyes being the next single. However, it seems unlikely in these times and I doubt a video would even be made for a third single if one were to ever exist.

As long as they're still making music (in the vein of Screaming Bloody Murder especially), that's all I care about. I actually don't think I've ever listened to an album so much as this one.

I really doubt they're making a new video. Haven't you seen how much Island has given a shit about Sums since UH?

Just to name a few
-They postponed the album release for 6 months.
-They accepted to fund the music video for the lead single 3 months after its release.
-They released a video for Baby, only because it was funded by the Sums themselves.
-They (surprisingly) released their live album 4 years after it was recorded.

Now that the Sums have a 6 months break from touring, practically they would have to start promoting SBM from scratch. Island didn't care when it was released, so why would they care now?
Only way we're getting a video is if Sums would fund it themselves. And why would they? The album has already been out for a long time enough to grab their fans' attention. No need to promote it anymore.

This.

No chance of anything more happening with SBM. No more singles, no more videos. All we can expect now is a few years of live shows and maybe casual writing. They're not going to release a fully funded music video while they're still with IR.

yeah, maybe if every artist in IR suddenly died, Sum 41 being the only survivor, than they would maybe get paid to make a new video, or IR would find another JB, it wouldn't be any hard

to be honest, i don't care if sum 41 ever makes a new album. if SBM is their last album, i think it'd be a perfect note to go out on. if they go on indefinite hiatus, i wouldn't be surprised. however, i would at least like to see them live once before they disappear...

yeah, they do a pretty good show, but before you manage to get an erection the show is over, so you go home without the erection you have hoped for before the show and it makes the whole experience kinda weaker

but the show isn't bad, just short, it's like when you watch porn, you're having the time of your life, and then, suddenly, the power goes down, electricity in the whole town is dead, and you're fucked, more than ever

I actually think they might do a video they'll fund themselves sometime in the future. And considering they'll do it themselves from their own pockets, they won't have to worry about it being radio friendly or whatever like they did when they decided to release Baby as the second single cuz it was light and radio friendly.

Sums are a band that are all for the fans, so I might see them doing something off their own money, plus Stevo really likes directing, so I can see this happening in the future.

well, Sum 41 are not so big, and after 6 months of doing nothing but laundry and feeding Stevo's son, well, they will first have to make the money that they've lost during the six months long break
