Would you even notice a riot in Scotland?

Did the riot seriously only just start because a guy got shot by the police? Whether the guy shot first or not, if a police officer is in life threatening danger aren't they allowed to shoot? Not sure if that is the law there or not.

But still it's ridiculous. And I'm kind of worried because my younger sister is over there on her Euro trip and will be in London tomorrow night or something.

if they're not in London yet they might not bother going and stay where they are now, I can't see this being over.

and our gun culture is alot different over here to other countries, the Police are reluctant to use firearms unless they absolutely have to. because of that, when an officer uses a firearm like last week shit like this happens.

I love my country, I just fucking hate some of the people that live here. at times like this I start to feel ashamed of being British.

Yeah it's like that here too, but if someone is pointing a gun on a policeman, or running at them with a meat clever (that happened here a few months ago) then the police is allowed to shoot, and no one tends to blow up about it.

And the problem is I think she has to go to London, otherwise it fucks up her whole trip. She won't be able to pay for a different set of flights to get where she needs. But we're trying to contact her and say stay at the airport or something, don't go into the city.

the problem here is the majority of our coppers don't even carry guns, all they have is a stick and some pepper spray.

If you wanna be a tard and own a gun and wave it about, chances are you deserve to get shot. But all police carrying guns isn't the answer.

Don't see what all the fuss is about. Imo they did the right thing.

What's up with the world..
London's burning
And I am ashamed to be part of a generation
That burns and destroys homes of people
Who have nothing to do with it.

Attacking the wrong people is not the solution.
Your vote is it.
-----

Posted this on my facebook. That's what I think about. Fuck it, if your life is a worth a shit. Destroying homes won't make things better, they make things really, really bad.

I don't think their is own human in this world that wouldn't feel sorry afterwards. Only people with mental problems won't feel sorry. Is this the world I live in? Is this the world I want to live in? I don't think so. This world is a sick machine, and instant of caring less. I keep caring more, because I'm only 19 years old. I have a whole life in front of me, and I won't let some people how think that riots will solve their problems destroy my life.

If they want me to fight, I'm going to fight with my voice. I'll speak, I won't even shout. Because that makes more impression to politicians. A human that talks about his problems without a tear drop, without seeing anger in his eyes. Only with hope in their eyes, that their conversation with that politician while do something..

But no, this world is a sick machine. And I'm fuckin ashamed to be part of the generation.

In Canada, we only riot when a hockey team loses a championship game or when Guns N Roses cancel a concert.

Small "riot" in Portsmouth. Set fire to one (albeit disused I believe) building.
