Are they actually protesting agaisnt something(like we did, though it was useless)?

Yes, a man was shot by the police for supposedly firing first, but all evidence suggests that he didn't. People are protesting against that basically, but now it's just out of control with people joining in who are just looking for a fight and wanna fuck shit up due to the fact that they are mindless chavs.
