I use the mp3 of No Reason, or Family Reunion by Blink 182, but now I wanna cut the end of the Rage's song Wake Up and use that ...

and as a ringtone for text message I use Shut Your Fucking Face Uncle Fuckaa song, but just this line ...

Mine's City & Colour's "Comin' Home", it's the shit.

And I think my mom+ every other person in this town has had a Nickleback ringtone, so it's nothing new...unfortunately.

easiest way (maybe the only way) is to jailbreak your iphone. theres tonnes of "custom" SMS tones.

easiest way (maybe the only way) is to jailbreak your iphone. theres tonnes of "custom" SMS tones.
Yeah, no way to get custom SMS tones while in jail. (I've jailbroken twice and I would only recommend it if you have a 3G or are poor).

Right now I have the chorus and ending of Sick of Everyone. I have a shitload of Screaming Bloody Murder songs for ring tones. I'm really lazy with my ring tones though, I hardly ever change them or assign certain ones to certain people.

can you do that on iphone? do you need call display for that to work?
I'm not sure if you need call display, but I have it and I'm able to assign a ring tone and text tone for individual people. I assume you would need call display, otherwise it would be like having free caller ID.
