So today I'm driving home from school, and I turn it on to the alternative rock station, and you'll never believe what song I heard.....if you guess baby you don't wanna know, you are correct. Kinda made my day, after the song played the guy on the radio kept saying how it didn't sound like sum 41, but he really liked it, and it made him appreciate the band more, then he went into a 3 minute rant, about how much he disliked Deryck, so yah, just thought I would share that. It's nice to hear sum 41 on the radio, haha.

I still don't get this, people complain about how shitty music there is played on the radios, yet they still want and like to hear their favorite bands to be played there ... the less songs the band has on the nowadays radio, the better the band is, cause there is rarely a good song played ...

I still don't get this, people complain about how shitty music there is played on the radios, yet they still want and like to hear their favorite bands to be played there ... the less songs the band has on the nowadays radio, the better the band is, cause there is rarely a good song played ...

When people complain about hearing Ke$ha or Justin Bieber on the radio 24/7, I believe they are just listening to the wrong radio stations. The local station I listen to plays modern rock and almost every day they play Sum 41, Blink-182, Rise Against, local bands... etc. So, basically, there's no reason why people should complain about "the shit" on radio because they are probably listening to the wrong stations anyway.

I agree with all of this. theres no cool radio stations like that here: they're all shit. ONE might pickup BYDWK, if it does I'll listen to it while its on - then turn the radio off haha.

I don't think Deryck is like you say. My brother met Sum 41 in a Meet & Greet in Portugal and he said Deryck is kinda shy with some fans but he never give a fuck to his own fans ! He don't give a fuck about people who don't listen to Sum 41, he don't have to be polite to people who probably hate him...
Yeah, I know many people who hate Deryck because of the way he is and how he talk about some shit...

like he should be criticizing people based on their looks, he hides behind a microphone at a radio station where no one sees his face. thats pretty much is an ugly person's dream job. you should have called the radio station and ripped him out.

Well over here in Scotland I have literally never heard a good ol' rock song on the radio for as long as I can remember. The only music played is the top 10. Nothing else. Not even the fucking Foos.

We've got 'nation' down here, they play some good stuff, but I've never heard them play any sums :/

I know that there are stations that play good music, but I want a radio station that plays good music without choosing only most radio friendly songs ... why don't they choose Jessica Kill or Sick of Everyone ? :P they do really have to choose the song that sounds like you've heard it billion times before ?

I really hate when people do that. Or if its over the internet, like stop hiding behind a fucking screen. How much you guys wanna bet the radio host wasn't very pretty either?
