private chat.
instead of added each other on msn or facebook, can something be done to support a private chat feature? like facebook, but on here. you know what i mean?
is this practical or would it eat up too much bandwidth?

I've got an idea! Why don't we make a private TNS group on Facebook? Just for people within the forums who use it regularly?

I had msn on all the time.. but now some virus is fucking up my computer and now I can't acces msn.. so I have to use that crappy ebuddy thing

Given the stupid amount of issues we have with the current chat box, i'ma say no.
(And I have no idea how I'd go about implimenting it).
use PMs? I *might* be able to tweak them to auto update like the chatbox does...

Just what we need, more social networking. Because the forum home page cant connect you to PMs and the chatbox, because the chat box cant connect someone to your tns profile, because your tns profile cant connect people to your twitter, facebook, myspace, tumblr or myyearbook pages. And all of those cant connect to each other. We just need a private chat, we all have so many interesting things to say.

why involve all those other social mediums when we can do it all on TNS? think about that. i never bothered with MSN before today cause i didn't need it. if we had a private chat option, it would totally kick out the middle-man.
im just coming at a stand point of making TNS completely socially independent. but hey, im not saying that we NEED it, it'd just be a neat feature.

I guess it'd be pretty great, but I got to say we definitely done NEED it. I have a good few of you guys on MSN, I just don't always use it. PM chats are fine with me too. plus I'm in the most awkward time zone ever so I don't know who'd actually talk to me haha.

since we're talking about twitter, you should add a feature like the "MSN" adress under the mini profile for twitter.
for the least work, everyone should have their twitter in their signature.
