I can't speak for everybody but some people probably hate Simple Plan as harshly as they do due to the "Sum 41 vs. Simple Plan" rivalry that has been going on for quite some time. Loyalty to the band they like, haha.

Hey dad look at me, come down and talk to me, did i grow up according to plan? Now that's some deep lyrics right there. With that being said i really like their Untitled song. Crash reminds me a whole lot about it actually, both being piano driven ballads about a car crash.

Okay, I really do not know why everyone is saying this is their worst stuff ever. Their last self-titled album was really bad with BSB-beats and so on, but this seems like a return to their pop punk roots. I am talking music-wise, their lyrics were always awful.
