You may be able to find a fan made replica. I believe a few of these guys have replicas.Skumfuk wrote:so would there be a way that i can order one, or is it just a waste of time to look for one?blackhawk1105 wrote:The Fender version never went into mass production.. so you won't find one

Jeremy said all there's to say, you'll find only squiers, or fan-made replicas, that's all. Pretty easy to make a replica actually ! You just have to get the money...

I suggest a replica if you really, really love the guitar Deryck has and don't mind the limit in tone... As well as the criticism that will follow stripping down a '72 Telecaster Deluxe, haha!
A Fender version was never in the works because Deryck said he wanted to make it affordable.

I never understood how he could live with such an ordeal, perhaps its just so when he plays live he doesn't have to worry about switching the wrong knob..Cause he only has one..because its "An Underclass guitar....for the hero a largee!!Jeremy Kill wrote: don't mind the limit in tone... Re: Deryck whibley FENDER
If you're going to buy a fender tele, just buy an ordinary one, don't get a proper replica made. You just get the fanboy image when you buy those signatures, make your own style! Aw yeah.

Re: Deryck whibley FENDER
I bought a Squier which is a '72 deluxe replica, and indeed I often have problems changing the wrong knobs. I often change the position of the mic selector when I play, and that's not a good thing !cladam41 wrote:I never understood how he could live with such an ordeal, perhaps its just so when he plays live he doesn't have to worry about switching the wrong knob..Cause he only has one..because its "An Underclass guitar....for the hero a largee!!Jeremy Kill wrote: don't mind the limit in tone...
