I think he probably had some kind of studio back in 2005.
Yeah, probably. Deryck recorded SBM with using mostly his own equipment, right? He just moved them to another house.182sins wrote:Yeah I think so, but I think he used it to make demos, not full songs which would be released on an album.
I thought he used mostly his own stuff, expect couple mics probably. But I don't know. It seems like he took his home studio with him when he went to that house on Hollywood hills. I mean he does have professional studio equipment after all so it wouldn't be weird if he actually used it for the record.182sins wrote:Yep I think he did! At least he used his guitars... I think he went to the studio because of the sound and all the gear they have. Talking about that, I'm not sure he went to the studio to record Always... I'll have to check the booklet I guess !
The EP includes two different sessions. DTLI acoustics were recorded (and released) earlier than the Chuck acoustics. The DTLI acoustics were originally released sometime between the albums as part of an acoustic compilation CD.Hentaiman wrote:I guess this acoustic EP was just recorded during the sessions for Chuck to be used as a bonus and for b-sides, then they decided to release it as an EP later.
Oh really? I didn't know that. What was this acoustic compilation?TomiT14 wrote:The EP includes two different sessions. DTLI acoustics were recorded (and released) earlier than the Chuck acoustics. what is there about Sum 41 you DON'T know?TomiT14 wrote:There are two versions. One was recorded for Rock Against Bush compilation, length 1:39.
They re-recorded the song for Chuck with double-layered vocals on chorus, didn't make the final cut so released as a B-side, length 2:00.
