Definitely Linkin Park's "A Thousand Suns". It is just the biggest piece of crap I have ever heard within the genre limits of rock and alternative or whatever... well, its just fuckin' crap! A lot of unnecessary and gay interludes and bridges between songs, the songs are just lame and boring, too much electornics make it sound too gay... I can barely hear any real guitar or any instrument at all there... everything from drum beats and bass to guitars sounds computerized in a gay way. Such a lame departure for them... I used to really love Hybrid Theory and Meteora when I was younger, around the age of 14-15 they were my fav band, but I mean, god, its just awful!!

I heard it's crap, I need time to think about dl this album ,I've been a fan since HT came out but this new style breaks my heart, I know that bands change and sometimes that change is good(aka blink182 self titled) but this sound is not lp anymore

This really is a disappointing album, Linkin Park has really lost it. When I heard The Catalyst I thought it sounded somewhat promising, but this isn't even near their old stuff. I mean, the album has 15 tracks, but only about 9 of them are actual songs, the rest are just interludes that fill the gap between the others. This is way to electronic, and literally boring to listen to. I find it hard to believe that Linkin Park are actually satisfied with this, they can do so much better. I respect the fact that they want to do other music as well, but this isn't them at all.

There ARE some good songs though; I do like The Catalyst and it is definitely the best song off the album. Wretches and Kings has also grown on me, I didn't like it at first but it's really good compared to the rest of the songs. And I also like Iridescent, The Messenger and Burning in the Skies, but althogether A Thousand Suns is the most disappointing, boring and worst album of the year. Minutes to Midnight is a masterpiece compared to this.

It's just another genre. And I love it.

LP has indeed become horrible. So are lots of bands btw. Just like Good Charlotte. Good Morning Revival sucked like hell.

I heard the first single, The Catalyst and I thought it was pretty good. I'm guessing the rest isn't as good.

no its actually good...it like tells a story about nuclear warfare in the future..thats why it sounds so electronic in some part...its cause of the robots..

Did the album leak?

Just throwing this out there but the first two singles from Good Charlottes Cardiology are sounding pretty fucking awful. I've got no hopes for the album anymore.

It's a total rip off of Nine Inch Nails's Year Zero. The same exact concept. Alot of it sounds like Bloc Party too.
