So dunno if you guys know but The Offspring debuted a new song from their upcoming album live a few weeks ago, its called You Will Find a Way and its this nice alternative light-hearted song, which is funny cuz Dexter said in an interview that the new album is straight-up-rockin'. Anyway, to me it sounds like a total rip off of Foo Fighters' "Times Like These". Not only with the guitar riff and all which is exactly the same (!) but also with the singing melody in the verses and such. Still a nice song..

And One By One is the worst Foo Fighters album. Couldn't they rip of Monkey Wrench instead?

The Offspring is one my favourite bands, but fuck... This song sounds like a shit Times Like These cover! I'm a little afraid of the new album.

they played it when I saw them last week. I don't think it's that bad, but yeah, I hope the rest of the album is gonna be heavier.

Offspring started going downhill after Conspiracy of One.

Splinter and Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace are two really good albums. I don't know why people don't like them. Consipiracy of One is their worst.

Not true. After Conspiracy they lost the "Offspring-sound".

Consipiracy is just a carbon copy of Americana. And I think they didn't lose the true "Offspring-sound". The good thing in The Offspring is that they don't change. I mean they've been playing almost the same music for over 20 years, simple music, catchy choruses, and a lot of "woooh-oooh-oooh" backing vocals. The last two albums also include them. Splinter is The Offsprings punkest albums (my 2nd favourite, after Smash, obviously), and RaFRaG is a really good album, too.

The main riff's a bit annoying, but other than that, pretty brilliant song!
I actually thought The Offspring's last album wasn't bad at all. It got old after a while but I thought they pulled off really well their new sound. "You're Gonna Go Far Kid" will always be a brilliant song imo.

Agreed. except i like the main riff.

RAFRAG was a great album, just got boring. Like UH and others.
