I HAVE BEEN GETTING "MEDIUM WRITE ERROR" WHEN TRYING TO BURN CD'S FOR THE PAST FEW MONTHS, TRIED TWO DIFFERENT KINDS OF DISCS, TRIED LOWERING THE BURN SPEED, TRIED CLEANING THE LENS, AND NO LUCK.

my friend needs help, thats his fb status, any of u know how to fix it?

A medium write error is usually a problem with the DVD-burner itself. Tell him to take it to his local Apple store to have a look at it.
