Non-Pop-Punk music you like

Although I love a lot of Pop-Punk (e.g. The Sums, SYG, Old GC, Millencolin, NOT Blink 182!), I'm mainly into Metal/Rock.
Other stuff I like is Classical, 80's Pop, Hardcore(the real kind), Blues, David Bowie, Ambient DnB, power ballads, Classic Rock, Instrumental Rock (Joe Satriani is a fucking god!), Jazz, and, of course, Flight Of The Conchords.
What about tha rest ov yaaa?? Any unusual styles? Aleatoric? Post it.

Pop-punk is becoming one of my least favorite genres, to be honest. As of right now, I like just about everything. Except Brokencyde...

i love acoustic stuff like City and Colour
also a huge fan of older music like 70-80's rock
cant beat a bit of the blues either
a personal fave of mines has to be the Blues Brothers tho

Pop Punk isn't actually my prefer genre of music, I would much rather listen to some Metalcore, Viking Metal, Post-Hardcore before I consider Pop-Punk.

I've been listening to a lot of classical music lately. My favorites seem to be from the impressionist era.

I listen to a lot of music that Sums listen to ...I like Iron Maiden,Metallica,Pink Floyd,Bob Dylan,John Lennon,The Beatles...and of course punk-rock ,pop punk is my fav. ... and also new hard rock like Three Days Grace then something like Avenged Sevenfold...I listen to everything except for pop and electro...

Rock is my favorite genre. My favorite style of this genre, is punk. I like punk rock.
Most of my favorite bands come from this genre. At the same time, i love some metal here and there. I dunno, i like what i like. I don't force it upon myself.

yeah you're right ...I am sick of arguing people on youtube ...ya know when someone writes to blink 182 song yeah this is punk rock...and the other one starts : no it's not ...they both like it but they argue what kind of music it is...why the fuck is it so important ??I listen to everything that I like ...

I really just listen to anything I like guess other "genres" are acoustics and 60's style songs (basically all the original songs other artists have re-done and ruined, well the beatles didn't ruin them)

you know this thing with genres is fucking stupid ...I was searching one discussion somewhere about Breaking Benjamin and some girl wrote there : "Hey guys...is the band Breaking Benjamin grunge ?Because I really like it but I need to know if it's grunge so I could listen to them."
Isn't that stupid ?

Celtic punk, melodic harcore, alternative rock (whatever the hell that means?) and just good old punk, like Bad Religion and Social D.
