First Impressions?

Post by poups41 »

for those of you who have heard the full album, wut do you think? Im halfway through now and IMO the clips didnt do this cd justice. derycks passion really comes through and is it just me or are the bridges just AWESOME!?....jesters' 'lalalala' part is one of my favorites rite now, and I just finished 'with me' and there was a really cool bridge in there too. wut are ur guys first impressions?

You're right Poups. The 45 second previews didn't do this justice at all. I was expecting a rather soft album... when the reality is much different.

It's up, down, fast, slow, everything all rolled into one brilliantly executed album. None of the 45 second previews give any idea of how the songs really flow.

That "La La La" part in The Jester sticks out like a topless girl in a crowd of truckers and redefines the word: "Awesome."

I cannot wait for this to be officially released so I can get my paid-for copy. I would honestly pay $30 if they wanted it this CD is so damn bitchin'.

Love it to death. I'm having a lot of difficulty finding ANYTHING wrong with it.

Upon first listen, the only song I really don't like is Count Your Last Blessings. The piano just sounds like nails on a chalkboard to me for some reason. That being said, it will probably end up being one of my favorite songs as on the past few albums I hated one of the songs and now love it.

It's decent. My favorite songs from it are The Jester, Count Your Last Blessings and Pull The Curtain.

from what ive heard, this is definitely their best album yet! (until their next one of course) but my one and only complaint is that there may be a little too much piano parts, a lot of songs start with slow piano and end with it, but still, its definitely amazing
