Ipod problems..

hey guys..
ive had problems with my Ipod Classic in the past... okay..
well my ipod wiped... so i plugged into the computer to restore it and it comes up with this...
"Itunes has detected a ipod that seems to be corrupted. You may need to restore the ipod before it can be used with Itunes. You may also try disconnecting and reconnecting the Ipod."
so i restore the ipod then 30 seconds into restoring it says this...
"The Ipod "Ipod" could not be restored, a unknown error occurred (1439)"
and then the ipod stays connected but does not appear on Itunes...
I have tried reinstalling/updating the drivers,
and i made a .Bat file like Itunes.com tells us here... http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1539
and ive done all the basic steps to fixing the problem (reseting computer and so fourth)
SO now im here and PLEASE HELP!
