I talked to Cone and Tom recently and they'd both love to do some kind of Q&A or live chat. So which would you guys prefer? Submitting questions, text chat room, thread chat, or video?

I vote for submitting questions because of my work schedule. How did you talk to them?

Agreed, submitting questions would be great! Anyone know if the GOB album is still coming out this summer?

The album is ready, and the release date is not far away. A month ago, they were still waiting for the label's permission to announce it, so I'd guess we would hear about it any day now.

I vote for live chat. :devious:

Just saw his post.
It's so unfortunate to have come this far but I'm glad he is aware.
Looking forward to more updates.

seriously...fuck touring
and this is his own stupid fault

he needs to get his shit together, time for a healthy lifestyle, lots of rest, good food and lots of water.
get all the toxic shit out of his body, lose the bloated body/face, and refresh his mind.

the last few years he has been nothing but a time bomb...

I'd love a live chat. I know Tom has done one for your site personally, and I remember Steve doing a live video chat (which I enjoyed so much. It was definitely the best suit for him as we can see his antics or what have you.)

But, honestly, I'd be cool with anything as long as we get to hear from Cone & Tom! :)

hey deryck What about your back ache? And when we'll have informations about albums and drummer?

The Official Deryck Whibley

i'm not worried, i will get a knew drummer when the time is right. deryck
I'm gathering that since he's been hospitalized he clearly hasn't been writing music, and because he hasn't been writing, he's not concerned with "getting a drummer" right now. The only thing that bothers me is that he sees it more of a filler rather than an organic member who would be an avid part of the team

Dude, I love this! The one they sold at Warped Tour in 2010 wasn't much of anything.

If anyone has the game "Rocksmith" they just added Sum 41 DLC-pack. Has We're all to Blame, Still Waiting, Hell Song, In too Deep and Fat Lip. Pretty awesome.

I always dreamt about a Guitar Hero/Rock Band Sum 41 edition (like the Green Day game), it'd have been so cool to play their songs (more than just their singles) through their history.

Haha. While that certainly would be neat, sadly the band is not big enough for this to happen.
The thing about rocksmith is though, that basically while being a game it's also a guitar-learning software.. Meaning that you play it with real guitar and at the highest difficulty the game makes you play the song exactly like on the record. :)

That's why I only dreamt about it. :D
Yeah, I know Rocksmith. It's a great idea, although I'm not into it... A few years back I tried to learn playing guitar, but I kinda... lost my motivation. So, GH and Rock Band remains for me, they're still fun to play your favourite songs. Although I haven't played them for a long time...

Anyway, it's just great they released a Sum 41 content. (But it's a little bit sad that it's always their biggest hits, it could've contained SBM at least :P)

I know what I need to go out and get--thanks so much for sharing! I've been searching for a game like this for a while. The bundle is what I'm going after.

I saw these a while ago and caught that, too! Clever response.
