Holy shit! That's the most new music we've probably heard in a studio update!Zell1010 wrote:New update. Get to hear a little bit of one track when Cone is playing along.
EDIT: Bass actually sounds interesting now!
Re: The Sum 41 New Album Thread!
It does sound heavy, it does sound big.
And it's awesome to see Cone enjoying playing as well.
Best update yet, biggest jizz ever.

The clip where Cone is laying the bass track down sounds a lot like Alkaline Trio. Doesn't it?

Re: The Sum 41 New Album Thread!
Im actually not any more excited than what i already was tbh. When Deryck stole the golf cart i was more excited. Reminded me of the 1980-2004 Sum 41.
Anyway, i just want the album. Or to hear a finished song.

1980? Sum 41 started up in 1996 or something like that.Jake-41 wrote:Reminded me of the 1980-2004 Sum 41.

Re: The Sum 41 New Album Thread!
I'm hoping the next update will be titled "Start of Guitar" and show the Busy D-Rock playing along to a song like Cone did. Please God. Please Jesus.
In addition, the song Cone was playing too really sounds fitting for Sum 41. It's like on par with what I imagined this album would sound like. Fast and energetic, it sounds more mature than Underclass Hero but still youthful like Sum 41 isn't trying to play music beyond their age. That's just that song, but I get a feeling this will be a classy album for the band. Especially with that piano track Stevo was playing to earlier.
