The Music Recommendation Thread

basically, use this thread to recommend music. got a band you want to share with us all? post it in here! don't just post a list of 100 bands names though. post the band name, a link to their website/myspace/whatever and a short description of them, what/who they sound like etc. hopefully this thread will actually work and we will get a nice big list of bands/artists for everyone to check out, and will actually be updated reguarly!

I'll start things off:

Chuck Ragan - http://www.myspace.com/chuckragan - awesome sounding acoustic, punk influenced folk music.

Tim Barry - http://www.myspace.com/timbarryrva - again, a bit like Chuck Ragan, the guy has a great voice. definately check out Chuch Of Level Track, amazing song!

Crazy Arm - http://www.myspace.com/crazyarm - A great UK band also with the folk/country/punk sound, brought up on the same label as Frank Turner.

Missing In Action - http://www.myspace.com/missinginaction - A local band from around the area where I live. I recommended them before, but now they finished recording their debut full-length album, so they have 2 new mixed & mastered final songs on their myspace. Both songs are amazing! Its a BFMV/Trivium kinda-metalcore thing.

Kill The Drive - http://www.myspace.com/killthedrive - Another band from around my area. They play just a basic pop punk/punk rock thing, but their latest album released just a few weeks ago is pretty fuckin' great, and got a song called "We're all to Blame" haha (not a cover). Useless ID frontman Yotam Ben-Horin produced their new album.

The Midway State - http://www.myspace.com/themidwaystate - This band's first single "Change for You" (which is a great song), was the first music video Stevo has directed. They are really cool alternative/piano rock band, for fans of The Fray and such.
