I just bought the St. Anger CD at a record store. I want to upload it to my computer but for some reason Metallica must have not wanted anyone to because it says "You do not have the privilege to import St. Anger" so I tried the link to the Metallica download site and entered the code from it and apparently it has been used. Is there any way I can disable the thing that won't let me upload it or will I have to DL the album somewhere?

Edit:I guess this should belong in the Tech section.

Is it one of those pre-ripped CDs?

I'll ask again shall I. Is the CD you bought one of those ones that are pre-ripped.

EDIT: Or first try ripping the CD with Windows Media Player or anyothe sort of program and see if it is solely an iTunes problem or some sort of copy protection with the CD itself.
