Yeah, if Tom is official he should contribute to the writing, especially since he's a great songwriter, he and Theo make a great team in Gob and they wrote some kickass tunes and lyrics.

Are you on fucking crack or something, Sum 41 is not going to change just because Tom is the GUITARIST, he's not a song writer or something important like that, he'll play what he's told and that's about it. I really hope his is true, I'm getting sick of having just 3 people in Sum 41, they have to have 4, like come on the number's even in their name Sum 41.

It's stupid to have Tom be an "official" member and not be able to do any writing with the band. He might as well stay touring guitarist if that's the case.

I mean, what if Cone couldn't write his own bass parts even though he's an official member of the band?

I have no problem with Tom writing songs, I was trying to prove a point that Sum 41's sound wouldn't change, or at least wouldn't change as much as "ReemFTW" was implying.
