I still find it odd, not bad or anything, that peoples favourite albums aren't AKNF or HHOP. I think the music industry is so much different here in Australia. Might seem weird that it's just different countries but I really think we have different tastes here. A lot of people I know just like the punk and fun shit, and only the younger people have Chuck and DTLI? as their favourite albums.

The Sum 41 concert I went to a few weeks back (even though it was cancelled) I noticed a shitload of young people there talking about The Hell Song and UH and stuff, and my brother, and both our friends felt kind of weird being there lol. We were like "huh? have you kids even heard half hour of power?"

I don't even know what I'm talking about really, I'm just ranting now. But anyway I like the diversity in what peoples favourite albums are. Much different to some other bands.
I would make a perfect Australian XD
Lol. Looking back my post didn't make much sense now but oh well. Also just realised you're MySummerJob from the blink site haha.

1. Does This Look Infected? - Virtually every song is good on this album.
2. Chuck - Has a couple average songs.
3. All Killer No Filler - Has a few average songs.
4. Underclass Hero - Has some low end songs.
5. Half Hour of Power

That's probably because all of their albums are so different.. if you get someone who only listened to AKNF and let them listen to Chuck they won't know that it's Sum 41.
Other bands sound the same on different albums.. so it's easier to compare the songs/albums and decide which one you like better
That is a TERRIFICALLY good point... This is something I love about them , that the sound isn't so same-ey all across the albums, if anything it's quite the opposite! A lot of my friends/people I talk to make me VERY ANGRY when they say Sum 41 is just a copy of Blink 182 and Green Day, basing their views on the only Sum songs they know, In Too Deep and Fat Lip :/ . While I do like these songs, I'm starting to associate negative things with them... GRR.

So, I've tallied up and done the math to try and work out where these albums rank when we collect these results.

I gave the albums points based on the positions the forum members ranked them at. I added up everyone's ranks for every single album. This left each album with a score.

I then ordered the albums lowest to highest. The lowest scorer obviously being the most popular and the highest scorer being the least popular.

Here is how we ultimately ranked the albums.

1. Chuck (78)
2. Does This Look Infected? (99)
3. All Killer No Filler (128)
4. Underclass Hero (138)
5. Half Hour Of Power (174)

Interesting huh?
Chuck and DTLI? are clearly the fan favorites based on this particular sampling. With Underclass and HHOP finding themselves the lease favorites.

This isn't much of a surprise to me, although I will admit that I thought underclass would be further way from AKNF's score than it is.

I know it's quite early to say that Screaming Bloody Murder is my top favorite album, but I really think it will stand the test of time for me. The first listen through I didn't have any feelings of doubt whether I liked the album or not (like I did with Chuck and Underclass Hero).

1. Screaming Bloody Murder
2. Does This Look Infected?
3. Chuck
4. All Killer No Filler
5. Underclass Hero
6. Half Hour of Power

i think even though it is too early to say where this album is in rank, sum 41 is that band who seems to get better with each release. it's probably their experience and ability that evolves in time, which is why all killer no filler is at the bottom of my list, and underclass hero is still near the top for me, (still tied with chuck and does this look infected), but i think screaming bloody murder takes elements of those three albums and mixed them into some kind of amazing work of something amazing
