My dad has none of those things. Either he keeps it really well hidden (though I don't go looking for it anyway) or he destroyed it all and any traces when I was born.

I just got back from the Weezer concert. Oh. My. God.
the opening band was terrible but Weezer put on a really good show. everyone, who was old enough to drink, was drinking. half the people in the pit were loaded and they were funny as hell to watch. some idiots were smoking weed too so the place reeked of weed and beer.
my friends said the fumes got to me, gross.

I find if you just simply stop trying, it becomes a lot easier and the chance of it happening increases.
