My favs so far are Viva La Vidas, Eulogy, East Jesus and 21CB.

I know you meant gloria. I can't stand Coldplay
Ah my bad. I just read Muttweed saying it sounding like Coldplay, so something went wrong in my head after that.

And I can't stand them either. :silly:

if it was still called March Of The Dogs, I would still like it better than Sum 41's version.

question
does anyone else think their new song "static age" sounds a lot like their old song "church on sunday"?
or at least the melody during the chorus or w.e...

Why would they use the same parts? Did they run out of ideas or something?

Can't be that, since the demo version of 21CB had a different intro.
They should've just stick with that.

because it's a nice way to start and end the record.
and it's not the exact same. see the light has a different "rhythm".

it was renamed east jesus nowhere

yeah, good commentary. this album definitely my favourite, i never was really into green day before but this album really put them into my good books. fav songs: before the lobotomy, christians inferno, horseshoes and handgrenades, 21 guns.

btw, i hear so many influences from everywhere in this song, you can really tell what billie joe was listening to while writing it. ex. viva la gloria?, the solo reminds of the same solo in holiday, same tone and everything.

It's an interesting record. Miss the faster songs though like St. Jimmy and Jaded.

Preordered and downloaded. It's ok. Not as good as American Idiot.

Basically, Viva La Gloria blows all of them out of the water.
