I feel horrible for all of you that can't listen to whatever you want to listen to because your parents feel like it is inappropriate. I agree with them, though, to an extent. I wouldn't want my kids listening to a band as obnoxious as Avenged Sevenfold either.

Thank god my mom doesn't mind because she knows that my life revolves around my music, and she knows I'm not stupid enough to let it effect me in a negative way. She also is aware that my music taste is better than the average person ;).

My parents actually don't give a shit about what I do. The other day I bought an M game for my brother (Metal Gear Solid 4, if anyone's wondering) and the clerk was trying to talk my dad out of allowing me to buy it and my dad was all like "Will you shut up, I'm on the phone." Lucky me.

no one cares about the PEGI stickers i bought RE4 when i was 14 and the dude only said 60 euros please , my parents didn't say anything cos they knew i was mature enough to play it as long as you know what is real and what's not there's no problem
