uhhmmm you fail. you were 5 years old when TOYPAJ came out. you dont know shit.

i never really got into plus 44, and i dont like AVA. blink has been my favorite band my whole life so to me i think its best plus 44 ended and mark is doing his own thing. tom did his own thing with BCR all by himself and it was great, so mark's should be just as good. i just hope he doesnt sign with a label.

never got to see +44 live but i saw blink in '02 on the pop disaster tour.
hahaha, i not talking about Blink newb.

+44, you know, i was 13 when WYHSB came out.

You think they could use this as an ecuse to get new band members? I mean Travis plays the drums on most of those, so.... maybe.

you're not making sense. and i registered here before you so you have no right to call me a n00b, especially in a thread such as this...where you in fact are a n00b to the whole situation.

anyways, back on topic...

just think of this as Mark's BCR , people. It will be an amazing thing.

Damn that sucks, although Mark wrote the most in +44. He and Travis mostly. So his solo record will probably based on ideas and songs he originally wrote and intended to use in +44. I just hope Travis will play drums on his record and then I really don't care if its Mark Hoppus solo or +44, although Craig and Shane are cool too, but I guess Mark can do guitars without them for his own record.

He's pretty good though, i liked the stuff i heared.
although some see Mark Hoppus as god, he can't play bass and guitar at the same time, whihc will cause a problem whilst touring
True, i don't think he's god, but he's pretty good at playing guitar (at least for an instrument that is not his)
I think there's a video of him playing drums somewhere on YouTube. I actually thought he's a better drummer than he is a bassist when I saw it.

That sucks, I was looking forward to a new +44 album.

im definetly a blink-182 "n00b" but i thought BCR was a band, not just Tom.

box car racer was a band...and a fucking amazing one at that. i still listen to their cd.

however, it was basically tom's side project.
i wrote everything in it. he just had travis join b/c he didnt wanna have to pay for a studio drummer.

tom wrote and recorded everything (besides the drums) himself. he got the other two guys to tour with him.

it might have done, i was going to see them at the Astoria in London on the Monday, then again At Reading festival on the Sunday. i think they were gonna like 4 gigs across the country during the week then do Reading/Leeds at the weekend.

i still got to see them in early 2007 at Brixton Academy, but i was still bummed they cancelled. Astoria is pretty small compared to Brixton, so would of been an awesome and more intimate show

Oh well...last +44 record Mark and Travis wrote all of the stuff, Mark mostly. So it shouldn't be that different. Probably not as electronic as WYHSB.

i think it will be more "electronic", like how Mark & Travis first described the project a couple of years ago

Oh well, I didn't care much for +44.

I'm hoping that Mark's solo will be an equivalent to Tom's Box Car Racer.

Actually I think it will be better since Mark writes better lyrics and sing better.
Allthough nothing he do by himslef will be as good as Blink...
