It's just a combination of different styles.

And stop the useless topics, we all discussed these things before.

Out of those songs I think the closest one to being punk is With Me. The others are too slow and soft. Punk music is essentially fast guitars and using as little chords as possible.

as much as I like pop-punk, everyone does it, AKNF and UH isn't that different. but I LOVE the DTLI?/Chuck stuff cause no other band does the metal with punkish vocals mix like sum 41. it's so amazing, that's the main reason I like them. I REALLY hope they bring this style to the next level with this coming album.

Those songs arent really punky? there more slow ballardy songs

i think it depends what your into really if you love Punk Rock its a no brainer with AKNF

If you have a heavier side its defo DTLI or even Chuck

I really love UH tho cuz i feel it has a perfect mix of different types of songs & Styles

there hasnt been a Sum 41 album i have never liked i even like HHOP it just depends on what you fancy listening to at the time like at times im in the mood to listen to some old skool punky songs Like Fat Lip, Motivation ect but I also LOVE Heart Attack from AKNF thats 1 of my favourite songs, and other times you have an urge to listen to some punchy songs like Still Waiting & No Reason
I think Underclass Hero has a nice mix of these aswel as having a few extras thrown in and is generally a great album regardless to what you wana listen to theres something for everyone

To me nothing on Underclass Hero is much like anything on All Killer No Filler. If you were to combine all the songs from All Killer No Filler with Underclass Hero and still call it AKNF, the album would not be considered the same genre/style as the original AKNF was.

This. I was sure the tale of Sum 41 came to an end when Dave announced he was leaving.
Since then, I've been more than happy when there's been any activity with the band.

From a vocal standpoint, I dearly hope the new album is like DTLI.

DTLI/Chuck all the way.

Sum 41 kept getting heavier as my taste in music got heavier. Then UH happened, which was...is good but I prefer aggressive music.

Both of them...

But I think it will be smg comletly new. More melodic, but in a heavy way.
